Cheap real estate Costa Blanca – where to invest?

Is it possible to buy a property on the Costa Blanca cheaply? The southern coast of Spain also creates excellent conditions for investors who do not have a very large capital. You just need to know where to invest. What are the cheapest places to invest on the Costa Blanca?

Location is one of the key factors that affect the final price of an apartment or house. The most expensive offers are usually for the most attractive addresses, i.e., properties located on the first coastline or in the centre of popular holiday destinations. However, it is enough to look for offers in a smaller town or a bit away from the sea to see that buying a property on the Costa Blanca does not have to be a huge expense. Here are the places where you can find slightly cheaper, but still very attractive deals.

Alicante

Although Alicante is the informal capital of the region, there is no shortage of bargains. Cheaper properties can be found in Distrito 2, which includes, m.in districts such as Colonia Requena, Virgen del Remedio or 400 Viviendas, where average real estate prices are just over 100k euros. Although the districts do not have direct access to the sea, they are well connected, and it usually does not take more than a dozen minutes to reach the beaches. The advantage of Alicante is direct flights to other countries, which makes the town popular among tourists, and the premises are easier to rent.

Torrevieja

Torrevieja is a charming town located right on the seafront. The intimate character means that despite the top location, it is much cheaper there, and the prices of real estate are in the range between 50 and 100 thousand euros. Among the cheapest neighbourhoods are the area around Parque de las Naciones and Playa del Cura, where prices per square meter rarely exceed 1500 euros. The town is famous for its beautiful beaches and salt lakes, which are a big tourist attraction of the entire region. A healthy microclimate creates good living conditions for permanent and attracts holidaymakers.

Gandia

The coastal city located in the region of La Safor creates favourable conditions for the purchase of real estate. This part of the coast has still not been discovered by investors, and thanks to its authenticity and landscapes, it is becoming popular among tourists. The average price per square meter here is less than 1500 euros, and the seaside character of the town means that it is close to the beach from virtually every part of the town. Attractive price conditions, beautiful beaches and sunny weather make real estate here eagerly bought by Spaniards. The market also remains open to foreigners.

Santa Pola

Another suggestion is the town of Santa Pola. The small town is located right by the sea, close to the airport and other popular, more famous resorts. Salt lakes, beautiful beaches and a port offering a route to the island of Tabarca are just some of the advantages of this location. In the village you can also find real estate at a price of tens of thousands of euros. This also applies to apartments near the beach. The cheapest districts are considered to be Tamarit – Playa Lissa and Puerto.
